What We’re Building
Gennev is building the digital health platform for women in the second half of life, starting with menopause. We offer telehealth consultations with OB/GYNs and Registered Dietitians, health & wellness products and on-demand education. Gennev has the nation’s largest network of menopause specialists and is part of the Unified Women’s Healthcare network of providers.
The Job
The Practice Administrator provides administration in all aspects of practice activities, supervises staff, and oversees the management of all clinic activities and staff. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Conducts supervision of staff
- Provides direction for all daily entries of insurance/patient receivables, charge entry, surgical scheduling and routine office operations
- Plans, organizes and implements policies to achieve compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations
- Manages all aspects of information technology and electronic systems operation and application
- Maintains physician’s medical licensing and malpractice insurance current
- Prepares monthly financial reporting to physician
- Processes payroll
- Performs recruiting for open positions
- Performs employee performance reviews and applying progressive discipline
- Other duties as assigned
Reports to Physician
Essential Job Functions:
- 50% of your time will be Supervision of Staff
- 30% of time: Create, implement, and maintain policies to achieve compliance
- 20% of time: Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- At least five years working as an Practice Administrator
- Continuing education in medical terminology, health care office management, clinical guidelines and current laws and regulations that affect the business systems of practice highly desirable
- Experience working with integrated patient scheduling and billing systems preferred
- Experience processing payroll
- Extensive experience working with QuickBooks Pro required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access) required
- Ability to multi-task effectively with excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required
